Tied in Twine

I created a small installation using the base of my lamp, my headphones, thick white twine, and a mix of pills. Originally the concept was to illustrate how music can ease and heal pain; however, as time progressed the pills began to feel too literal. As I moved away from the original idea I began to explore creating expression through the string and its interaction with the space around it.
